Merry x-mas to me
today I finaly got to go fishing after a month of work and work and more work.the weather was great and today everything went right.I arrived at the river at daylight and the water was neer perfect leval but running a bit clear the first hole surprisingly had no takers so i moved up to the next.same results here so i moved on tothe next slot where i spotted a few fish laying behind a large boulder.I snuck up behind them and managed to cast upstream and low and behold we had a taker after about a 5 minute battle a bright hatchery hen of about 14lbs surcombs to my awesome fish fighting ability.all the while 2 fishermen move in just above me i let them have the hole and move upriver.after no fish on the next 4 holes i decide to move back to where i caught the hen ,I ask the 2 if i can move in below after they oblige i manage to hook 5 more landing three i leave whith two twin chrome hens by 11a.m. what a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
