Sure is a beauty. Perhaps the skipper had something to do with this one. I spent part of the day letting a solid strike go slack and watching a friend lose one on the way to the boat. WE will get them next time. Hopefully so will Smily. Keep the faith and go get em. You seem to be on the rivers more than most. Just what do you do for a living? Fish no doubt.
Nice job on the photos too. Keep them coming as somone has to show what a real fish looks like once in a while.
Do have a great holiday season. It is ok to be fishers of fish too.

Yes, that is a first for me on that river and we won't talk about how many years, okay almost decades to finally land a fish on that river. What do they say about patience and fishing?? Never mind now, I got one I can boast about for a couple of minutes now. Maybe I can do it again in a few more years.

Okay, technical data: Fish weighed in at almost 9 lbs, Length was a mere 29 inches long and a beautiful Hen with lots of eggs. Now where is those posts on Curing??
What another wonderful day to be on the River. The sun was shining bright, a little bit breezy and cool. And great company with Fm2 and his 2 sons and My buddy.

Yes we almost played bumper boats down the river. This sure was a great way to spend for a Christmas Eve's day!! Getting a Christmas Fish.
Big Thanks for FM2 for posting the pics.

Way to go Bill!!!! Nice bright fish yourself.

Snapshot, If you suggest I had something to do with it. I did!! Don't know if I can repeat it though.

Merry Christmas and God Bless you all.
