Default Willi report - Boone Bridge, 4/26

My son and I had a fun day on the Willi today. Between us we caught 10 fish... 2 over 2 lbs. A slow moving 4" Texas rigged Senko in 7-15' water out produced both a drop-shot and Crank bait for us today. Around noon was the most productive time. I learned something today that surprised me... we caught 3 fish in an area where 3 dogs were splashing around in the water just 35-40 feet away. I'm just glad my son caught some fish today... and they were the two biggest of the day! It's always nice to hear..."Dad, next week we should try..." Mission accomplished!

Now that sounds like a very productive day on the water. Some good father and son bonding time is priceless!

Great report K!

I'm also glad your son caught fish. You are doing him a great service by taking him fishing.

It's good to see you trying several methods with which to chase the bass. Keep up the good work.

Not only nice fish but cool pics too.

p.s. I just broke into those new shoes you gave me for the first time last week!

How did you do on Sunday Kurt?

I had to spend time changing the brakes on my car. It is definitely not as fun as fishing.

Nice, Nice!!! Yes, get them hooked on fishing and not "other" things.

Looks like a great day. I'd have been out there with ya if I wasn't chasing gobblers around the hills with The Duck Master and his boy.
