Favorite Steelhead Fly

What's everyone's favorite steelhead fly. One for summer and one for winter. Mine are black and blue S.O. Rockstar for winter and Lum Plum for summers.

A size 10 Double-Hook Red Ant (My Avatar) has accounted for hundreds and hundreds of Steelhead on the Rogue during the last 40 years. I don't usually fish flies for winter fish, but when I do it's usually a nymph on the Applegate in March

Christopher, you should know my favorite flies by now (you have seen me catch so many fish with so many of them)! HAHA

For winters it would be my famous lead-eye egg (accounted for many NFN steelhead and my first Alsea fish)

For summer it would be the tube fly of my design called the Cow Camp Special. Caught my first swung summer fish on the big D with it. Maybe if you are lucky Christopher I will tie you a few.

Wow I really saw you catch a lot of fish last time we went out.

I have two:

Black Ugly Bug with a flame butt for nymphing.

Black marabou (or bunny, doesn't matter) leech with a flame head for the rest.
