I've hit it a few times and got skunked everytime. It has also been slow for the fly guides working the river also. Very cold water temps have them off the bite is my guess.

The water temperature on the upper Sandy is close to 40 degrees; the Columbia is around 50 degrees. There might be fish in the lower Sandy were the water is warmer.

Thanks guys. I went out this morning and had two steelies take out my loop but no hook-ups. I will go out a few more times for the summers but it will be tough to juggle school, the Sandy, and the D (wow don't ya hate that problem). The summers are start'in to come in tough.
