Mounting of GSD 22 on 21' Seahawk?

This is the digital sounder modual from Garmin. For those of you that have done this before, do you have any suggestions as to where to place it? I will most likely be taking up the space on the bulkhead of the helm station (bow side) for a power distribution box. The gyroscope/flux compass for my TR-1 is on the passenger side, so I don't want to mount the thing too close to it. I think I need about a 2' clearance for the gyroscope.

I mounted mine right behind the dash only using 2 mounting holes.
There is a brace that goes across back there so I drilled two holes and let her hang.
Works just fine!
