Default Interesting plans for building your own.

25 foot sea craft.

I love the foot peddle for the clutch and the automotive transmission.
Just one step above the African Queen. LOL.

This would be a great project. If I werent so old. LOL.

That is what my brother did with his old wood Chris Craft. Repowered with fuel injection.
I like the idea of using the clutch and two gears from the tranny. I think the clutch would last a long time if you used a ceramic clutch.
At the time...wood was cheap. So the whole project was affordable with the automotive engine and tranny.
My dad had an old tug boat with a clutch. 18 h.p didnt move it too fast though. LOL. It could only go up stream in the Columbia in the summer.....lol.
