Default Nice article Beardbuster!

This edition of the OHA magazine has a good "how to" article on late season turkey hunting written by Beardbuster. Thought I would let you know in case y'all are not members now you have a reason to join.

One of these years I'm really gonna have to put some time into killing a turkey.....

Thanks Joe.

I am writing another one for the next edition as well. It will focus on using 3D archery shoots to hone your skills for hunting. We'll be taking plenty of photos in Redding next week.

I didn't read it yet but I wanted to compliment you on the photograph. You always take good pictures. (Or maybe your hunting partner does?) Either way, well done.

I cant take all the credit for the photo. I was hunting that day with Shay Mann who snapped the photo. That was a great hunt, We hiked our butts off to get on these turkeys. Up a hill, through a clear cut, through a ravine - got two birds then headed down the hill and then waded a creek with two big birds in hand.

With any hunt, we take a lot of photos. I bet we took 60 total and you always end up with ONE good one.

I actually saw a gobbler today down here in the rain forest.......I might just employ those late season tactics once I get my spring bear tag filled.
