Default Grant is gone. :(

Hi there--
I'm just SO bummed.
I can't believe that KATU took Grant off the news.
I know that some of you don't read the main board, so here is some awful news that I didn't want you to miss.
Please send a note to KATU about what you think of this.

Thanks for the heads-up Jennie. Sent my emails today.

It's their loss and hopefully it will be someone else's gain soon.

Dear Mr. Downard,

The employment contract of Grant McOmie has reached its conclusion. We
appreciate all that Grant has done over the years, but cannot comment
further on a personnel matter.

Thanks very much for taking time to write.

I received the exact same email.
Looks like they're doing a cut & paste for all of us. Nevertheless... it is good to let them know how we feel.

Sent an email to the parent company and got a little better response:

Dear Rod,
Thank you for your input. Because employee and programming decisions are made at the station level, not the corporate level, I am going to forward your email to the general manager of KATU. I realize you stated below that you have already contacted someone at the station, but we will make sure the general manager is aware of your concern.
