Default ok, Gang - one last try: FOUND - Fishing Vest

A couple months ago - October 14th 2001, I was fishing the lower Kalama River - Just me, no one else in sight, and mine was the only rig parked at the nearest parking lot. I came upon a Fly Fisherman's fishing vest. Just the vest - nothing else laying beside it - and again, no one else around. It is well stocked, but nothing inside gives a clue about who its owner is. I know whoever misplaced it would really want it back. I posted here and a couple of other sites the day after I found it, but no luck, and thought I would try one last time. Its hanging up in my garage and makes me sad every time I see it.

Just get ahold of me if its yours and we'll make arrangements to get it back to you : )

PS: It may belong to someone who fishes up in Canada - according to one of the price stickers from an item in the vest.

John, it is great to see someone with integrity, honesty and concern for others. I have found the ifish group to be the same way. I work in the insurance industry and often feel the general public has no interest in honesty, just what is best for them. You're welcome in my boat anytime. Maybe for flotilla 4 on the Columbia in March or April.

Thanks, Snapshot - I have a good friend who is a manager at Farmers - Thankfully, he owns a Duckworth & is able to leave it all behind when we go out on the Columbia.

Thanks for the offer too - I'm clipping your posting like a coupon!!!

Note to self:

Put name and phone number on fishing vest in the event of :

"ERROR: General System Failure" or
"Memory Access Denied"

Keep up the good work.

Jar Head,

Great moniker, had me curious and then I saw
the semper fi. I'll give you one of those coupons too. Nice gesture on trying to get the
vest back to its owner. I was in from 78 to 81
as small missile tech (dragon and tow), sometimes
I wish I had one on my company vehicle when a bad driver cuts me off  .
