Default Decoy Question?

So for the last few years I have been working in Washington March- October and have done all of my waterfowl hunting in hte midwest. anyways this year I plan on staying the winter and have to fit all of my stuff into one truck load. What i'm getting at is I have to leave some of my decoys behind so besides the normal mallards what do must of you use in your spreads. Are there many bwt or gwt and should i bring my diver strings. Thanks for all of the help and i can't wait to try hunting out there i've heard it can be really good.

Depends where you are going to hunt. I usually dont hunt with more than 24-36 mallard decoys but thats just me.

mallards, wigeon or pintail. And since you mentioned teal go with green wing teal.

There are some good opportunities for divers so if you have a little room it may be worth it.

I use mallards and widgeon not pintails as they ruin my bags,
Divers can sure come in handy when the puddlers get tough. Depends on where you hunt. If you decide to try sea ducks on the coast or sound then that can be fun too.

If you are going to hunt in the Yak Valley or anywhere on the eastside of WA, you should do just fine with 2-4 dozen decoys. Thats where i go.

I've done my best in Yakima (Toppenish) with about 1 dozen duck decoys. Mallard with a couple pair of pintail. Goose Decoys are another story, as many as you can full bodies. Or 2 pair of floaters with fleched heads.
