Default Spring flowers in Sisters-UP DATE

My wife got tired of the snow and decided she needed some flowers for color. This what she planted just before the latest snow. The 19 degrees last night didn't seem to phase them. Tuesday, it is snowing like crazy with an inch already and more predicted. If you are coming over to fish this weekend bring your snow shovel.

Now all she needs is a humming bird or two!

They all seem to be pretty hardy plants for the cold and snow out there.

They are also resistant to forest rats.

You'll notice immediately that these particular examples of flora, native to that area, require little, if any leaf structure to support the vibrant colors and general health of the plant. Sansleaf Faux Oregonius.

If they had leaves they would have frozen off by now anyway. Kind of like the proverbial Brass Monkey.
