Oh boy I thought this was a fishing discussion board, but I guess now we talk about anything we can? We are a sorry lot. We have all of our Christmas shopping done well before Christmas Eve, {I guess I wouldn't see catch and eat at 7-11 trying to find something for his wife,} So I guess I sit here at the computer and wait for the water to drop and talk about anything we can for now?
I Wish You all a Merry Christmas And May the Good Lord let it stop raining for a couple of days. :grin:

Well since this is 2001 why go out and shop when you have the net to buy her everything that she does not need. Then when it does not show up on the 24th to have it under the tree she can yell at you all day on the 25th. God I love being married. :tongue:

Another advantage of being single:
Bait brines in the fridge are okay...
I can be as loud as I want to at 3:00 in the morning without worrying who I wake up.
Extra freezer space is dedicated to bait.
Guts,,, Yep in the freezer until garbage day.
The boat is in the garage, the car outside.
You can organize/clean your tackle box in the living room, while watching football & drinking beer.
Friends are always welcome.
Dinner can be popcorn with butter and salt.

Makes sure my truck registration is up to date so I don't get pulled over on my way fishing!
Makes my lunch to take fishing, women seem to know what to pack, I can't ever get that one down.

There are really great ladies out there and I sure have been blessed with one.

oh you don't think I have that? Ya Ya thats the ticket, brine in the fridge, Sand shrimp in there too, and my wife gets up and makes me breakfast at 3 am and even rubs my casting arm down just to make sure I don't cramp up! Tells me she will mow the lawn while I'm gone for the day and has a warm dinner ready when I get home to eat after my nap!!!
Ok, Ok, maybe it's not that good, I might have streched the truth a little, but she is a great wife and I would'nt trade her for the 1 AM leader tying sessions. :grin:
Guys get some sleep cause I think we are going to have a couple of dry days??

You got it eddie I feel the same way about my wife.Shes not perfect but I wouldnt trade her for nuthin!she lets me do all the nasty fishing things in the house and lets me fish while she watches the next generation of fishaholics.and when I wake at 3 a.m. its not fishing im thinking about

Shot over the bow from Fishing Eddie  x-mas shopping at 7-11 not all bad. *****ies, Ding dongs, chips, 48 ouncers, smokie dogs, and for those that tip the can ...beer. All can be neatly gift wrapped and attached to a card that says "I forgot please forgive me" Now Rod take note of that.
As far as waking up at 3am in the morning. Well, yeah I always think of getting nookie :grin: Its the best way to start a day of fishing. Specially on the days that you don't catch anything you can look back and remember the nookie at 3 am that you scored.
Tying leaders at 3am :shocked: not exactly the score is it boys. There is definitly better cures for sleeplessness :shocked: :smile:
I have my own bait frige, a garage for the boats and can go fishing any time I wish. Now thats a great wife. A great husband? She goes scape booking with her friends every week until midnight. She is really bringing home some cool stuff that she has done. Just got to get her going on the fishing pictures.
Since this is a fishing bullitin board I will say that I am fishing tomorrow. Not sure if its sturgeon, or steelhead. Oh, tommorows my Birthday. 39 years old. From now on its 39 and holding .
Merry Chirstmas too all on I fish. Especially the grinch (fishing eddie). Hey, be sure you capitalize Catch and Eat, not catch and eat) :smile:

Our first date was a Bouy 10 trip 15 years ago and she's been in the boat with me continuously sever since. Bass, walleye, salmon, you name it!
She won't clean fish, but she is a Helluva cook and can match any chef in the world when it comes to cooking Salmon.
She is always willing to get out on the water and make some hookups. The best dam* fishing partner I've ever had!!!!!!!!!
