i always did enjoy topwater bass fishing. i remember fishing to hula popper about twenty years ago. do you mean to tell me they don't make 'em anymore? next you're going to tell me they don't make the torpedo or the jitterbug anymore either.

Hula Poppers,Jitterbugs and Torpedos are still produced.
They are now part of the Pradco line of goods.

Actually that is also a deadly silver salmon plug. We use such topwater plugs in quiet water in Alaska in saltwater estuaries and on the NF Lewis in frog water where silvers like to hide (across from the RV hole, Gary Loomis' bay, etc.). Cast, let set for 30 seconds and twitch. Blam! Heart-stopping.
