Default H&R/NEF to close doors???

So it is really going to happen. Maybe it has been all over the news, I just hadn't heard until a little while ago. I had never heard of the parent company Cerberus before. Now, with Remington, Marlin, H&R 1871, New England Firearms, LC Smith, Bushmaster, already under the Cerberus umbrella, I wonder what can happen next. I know that it is Remington who is getting the blame but ultimately it must be the big guy, Cerberus, who runs the show. I guess one way to solve problems is if the competition gets too tough, buy it up and close the doors. Too bad so many people will lose their jobs on such short notice. That really sucks.

It looks like they are still keeping the brand and products around. The plant closure sucks for sure but I expect more consolidation to come. It all boils down to greed, more quick money for the "investors" while they ravage a money making company.
