Default New "Fish" here to ifish

Greetings....site came highly recommend and came & took a look and...guess what...I was hooked...I have been fishing for some years now, except for the 4 years I was so arm twisted to live in Europe. What started out as a fishing pole in highschool has now developed into a sled, driftboat and all the fun stuff we just have to have....I greatly enjoy the local rivers due to time at work command more than I like...look forward in posting with you all...and hope to possibly meet some of you on the river...more than willing to share my knowledge for that you can share with me.....

Fish Story...that it is....about 2 years ago I was Winter Stealhead fishing the upper Sandy...just below the Dam...playing mountain goat for several hours, tore a nice hole in my waders, no hits, lots of lost gear, rain...just one of those days you start to guestion why am I doing this...with an hour left of day light I headed out...with a last minute thought I wondered how thinks looked down river by Lewis & Clark...Once there I used a tree and thought ah..what the heck...went under the railroad bridge and thossed out "that zero hit rigging" then bam....on the first cast hooked into a nice little chrome bright steelhead...after a short battle I was taking the hook out & though...if this fish had a day like mine...I should let him go...thus a good end of a long tring wet day...I laugh about now..what are the odds...

Great story Netone, has to feel good releasing that fish late in the day. I like your style.

Sounds like your well equipped to handle all the fisheries around these parts. Great to have you aboard and keep those stories coming.

Really great to see all the new members,

Gregg
