I have heard that the hole where triangle enters holds fish. Siuslaw might be ahead of the Umpqua this year. The U with all that cascade snow should run high and cold late, the Siuslaw is a large basin but it is primarily coast range with much less high elevation snow pack, it should therefore come into shape for shad earlier by virtue of the watershed.
I would be interested to hear if you find fish
