They aren't in any new location. The boat business went bankrupt and is completely finished. Evidently the expansion to Portland didn't do too well for the business. I heard they may still be selling some hottubs which they got into in the last year they were open, but don't know for sure about that.

Bought both of mine there. Spooled or Dave any idea or is everyone just sheet out of luck. Did John do anything for the customer's left behind?

I had stop by the Northriver showroom in clackamas and was asking about a trailor for my driftboat and the salemen who help me said he had work for southriver before they went under and that was back in June of this year. May give them a call and see if they took over o/m service.

Sorry guys, but Southriver Marine is gone. If you have a warranty problem, I would check with the manufacturer of the equipment, ie: Willie / Yamaha to see what to do.

T.rex, the guy you spoke to at North River Boats is Dave Traaen. He was the manager of the Southriver Marine store in Portland. He is a stand up guy, and is in no way responsible for what happened to Southriver Marine. He is a great guy to buy a boat from.

Default South River Marine

I bought my boat from South River Marine in Corvalis and heard a rumor they closed the doors. I tried calling them and confirmed the rumor to be true. Does anyone know why and where they may have moved to? I live near the Portland area and was wondering where I might find the closest dealer. Thanks.......

I drive by there almost every day. They have been closed for several months now. There was never a sign that showed that they had moved to a new location. I'll check it out down here for you and see if they are still in business somewhere else.

Have to agree with Spooled and ****** Dave is a great guy. He will treat you right, very stand up guy. Even if he is selling North Rivers Like Troy said if you have problems go through the manufacturer. Willie is only selling direct at this time.
