I just can't stand it anymore, I have to pick on the Oregon clams! SMALL, SKINNY little wimps! and what is the limit here? In Clam Gulch the limit is 45! You limit in about 45 minutes, don't have to dig in the dark, worry about red tides, they average five to six inches, are fat and sassy. Glad I got that off my chest. Kim

Default Clams, clams and more clams- I hope!

OK, I’m ready to get me some clams, but seeing as I mostly duck hunt, I have just a few questions.
First off where do you get the decoys and calls and do you use the big “J” or put the decoys is small family groups. What does a clam come back call sound like?

Now for the real questions. I will be coming across the bridge and won’t likely make it up before 5 on Saturday, will I be able to get a license at the small store in Chinook?
What is the closest, good beach to hit?

Thanks,

LTf

Yes you should be able to get you lisence at chinook store. drive to ocean park and go on the beach there and drive north 3-5 miles on the beach. get out and start digging.

Good luck
