Default What are the odds?

OK, here's the dilema. I have a trip to Tillamook planned for next week. We're supposed to drift the Wilson on Thursday, and fish other rivers on the Coast through Sunday. My boat is currently under about two-and-a-half feet of snow (no kidding), and about a hundred yards from the nearest vehicle access. Should I bother digging her out tomorrow or not?

I haven't heard the weather predictions for the North Coast yet, but they're bad for here in Southern Oregon. I'd love for someone to give me some hope right now, but I'd appreciate honesty more.

Thanks

P.S. I know that none of us are weather experts--heck, even the weather guys aren't experts--but some of you have a good sense for this sort of thing on the North Coast.

keep hope alive!! dig that boat out. sure enough, if you don't, the clouds will part, the sun will shine, the rivers will fall into perfect shape and you'll be haunted by all the posts of folks limiting out in less than an hour.

on second thought, if you dig that boat out, it's a sure recipe for another week of storms.

flip a coin. i checked four different weather sites and they all say we're in for showers all next week. hopefully, that means occasional rain and not steady downpours. the snow levels are hugging down pretty low which should clear any rivers that feed from snow melt.

good luck! don't give yourself a heart attack digging out the boat.
