Default Clackamas Today

What does the Clack look like today? I stopped at Riverside last night and it still looked somewhat fishable. Was thinking about spending tomorrow morning backtrolling plugs at Riverside.

N.E.S.T.L.E.S.......Looks just like the Clackamas.

CHOCOLATE

It IS on the drop tho...I'm expecting it to be fishable late tomorrow or Sunday...barring any more rain like we got yesterday.

I dunno 'mission. Cody and I were on the Clack today from Barton down past Carver. Working on the ducks though, not the fish. The guage is off for some reason. The river was at 18.4 this morning. Lots of flooding. Color is pretty bad too. I don't think it'll be in shape till at least monday.

Course, I'm going to the Deschutes tomorrow so......

Yeah Ben...dunno what's up with the guage readings there. Was reading 10.9 Wednesday, but looked like about 12.8 or so.

It was awful ugly today, but with a low freezing level, it could drop in a hurry.

I'm holding my breath.

Good Lord let it drop. I have a new rod and reel I want to try in the morning. I suppose no matter what the river looks like I am going to try it anyway. Good luck to all.

Tanner,

One word, YUCK ! I just returned from a short trip to E.C. and the Clack was the color of my yard below Deep Creek, I imagine it's the same up by the mouth of E.C. as well.

I was pretty low on the creek, and boy it was moving  I was able to find a slot I knew had some boulder water, and was able to work my jig for an hour before it started SNOWING! That darn banana I found in the boat still haunts me :depressed:

The creek still seemed like it was on the way up, but could fish in the morning if it snows. I know of a few spots I'll hit in case it does come into shape

Chris
