Default 1st two winter fish :)

I caught my first two winter fish yesterday. They were beautiful two WILD HATCHERY FISH,thats right one was about 6 lbs the other 8 to 10 had to turn them both loose. They were definatly hatchery fish their back fins were all chewed up and that only happens in a hatchery. But what the heck i caught them and it was great !!!,I got up early this morning knowing for sure today was going to be great got to the Washougal early had a cup of coffee and waited for daylight OH NO :depressed: !!!
The river must have come up 2' and was choclate brown(dark) and just roaring down :depressed: :depressed: it was a real heart breaker. Its almost over the banks at Hathaway park about two more ft. should do it.If we get the rain there talking on the news that might be enough. My wife gave me my christmas present early it was a 8' lamiglass ESPRIT CONCEPT
8-17 lb.one piece rod it is awesome, this is a new rod for them this year.I bought myself their Titanum 8-12 lb rod for a retirement gift to myself,I think I like this one better, its every bit just as sensitive.Am I spoiled our what ???  .Well hope to see you on the river someday if it ever drops back down.Remember a while back when we were praying for rain WELL !!! its here.Should't have to raise our electric rates now. RIGHT ??
