CR Salty Dog MMSI # list ATTENTION!!!

Those of you that replied with your MMSI#'s and want a copy of the CR Dog MMSI# list will need to PM me your email addresses. The list is now complete with 45 numbers. I will be checking your names off as I receive your replies.

Please, if you did not contribute your name to this list then do not ask for these numbers. Only those participating within this list may have a copy of these numbers. They will be a great resource for you this summer off the CR and either help you with finding fish or help you stay off someones livebait bite.

Thanks again to all that participated. If there are still others out there that want to be added to the list simply pm me with your first and last name, boat name, mmsi# and of course your email address.

It is a number you can plug into your DSC capable radio. It attaches to a compatable GPS units. It allows you to ask for a position request of your buddy boats. Helps keep radio traffic down and allows you to track boat positions.

You can apply for a free MMSI# through Sea Tow or Boats US websites.

Your radio for example must be ICOM 422 or better in that series to work with DSC.

Do a DSC search or MMSI search function on this website (ifish) to learn more.

Treb it is limited to only captains who have provided their own numbers, boat names and so on. What's funny is you are the only one on the list and they will all be pinging you.
