Garibaldi Sat ***Update***

Wow, a near perfect day yesterday. Crossed the bar around 8:30. Dropped a few pots and headed for the reefs off Oceanside. Flat ocean, clear blue skies. Pounded the bass with a couple of nice Cabezon, limit of those in about an hour. Targeted Lings for awhile but nothing keeper sized and there weren't many crabs on the pots. (Bait was too old). Back across the bar by 1 PM.

First Salty trip of the year and everything worked great.

Yup...looking at an afternoon show if the wind does not blow.

Looking good for the next few days. I'll take a peek out tomorrow if I get everything done in the morning to the Boat. At least listening to where the restrictions are tomorrow for Fri & Sat forecast on restrictions and conditions.

Looking better and better...stay below 15kts ...I've got to drop it for service in the afternoon...would love to leave it wet and fishy

I'm in depending on conditions. Fin clipping in the morning, bonking rock fish in the afternoon.

I've been holding my breath for 3 days and up until about 5 tonight I was fishing solo but I've got my partner and we are on. Only issue is we may try to pop out on the early ebb, drop pots and head to Oceanside reef in the AM...I'll be on 16 and out as soon as the bar will let me...Mike if you're clipping fins call me by 10 or so and I'll tell you where we are.
