Re: Who Will Win The Masters
Well it's hard to not put the money on Tiger, especially at Augusta. Maybe it's time for Retief to step up at a major that's not the US Open.

Do you even need to ask? Tiger is at least even money.

I might go out on a limb and pick Adam Scott, he's got the game if he can find his putter.

Re: Who Will Win The Masters
Can you really bet against Tiger? He's won 4 of 5 tourney's. This is the first major of the year and it is Augusta where he has won 4 times.
Then again...like others have said, Olgilvy is playing well right now and Furyk usually plays well in majors. But it's hard to bet against the best golfer in the world. I'll take Tiger.

Re: Who Will Win The Masters
I just love watching The Masters! Don't really care who wins, just like have 4 or more players in it on the back 9 on Sunday. That Back 9 is about the most fun to watch in all of golf

Re: Who Will Win The Masters
I think this might be Vijay's year. He's swinging well and seems to be getting his putter cranked up at the right time.
I'd love to see Freddie Couples have a good run. He'll break the record for all-time cuts made at the Masters if he makes it through to Saturday. Freddie is one of the class acts of all time.

Re: Who Will Win The Masters
I love The Masters too. It's hard to bet against Tiger.
Freddy Couples is classy. I followed him exclusively one year at the local Peter Jacobson tourney. Fun. Arnold Palmer and Peter were very fun to watch and listen to.
I've been to and participated in many events in my life. I want to ONCE, walk with the gallery at Augusta.
I might shoot scores like Carl Spackler, but love the game.

Re: Who Will Win The Masters
Fred Couples. He will win with clutch putting. Ok, ok, Tiger will probably win........again...........Phil will fade in the final round. Some young gun like Bubba Watson will lead the first round. Tiger will lurk around at 3-5 off the lead for the first two days, giving all the field hope, then.......BAM! Third round 68 puts him one shot off the lead, and from there, its all over but the engraving on the cup.....

Re: Who Will Win The Masters
It's kinda funny, but I don't golf and have never played a game of golf in 56 years. Having said that, I avidly follow Tiger Woods and no other sports star. There's just something about the pursuit of excellence that I really admire.........

Re: Who Will Win The Masters
BEN CRANE....Going for the home town guy On the other hand I'm not sure he's playing in the Masters.
Looks like I'll have to take Tiger, he makes it fun to watch and I have a co-worker who hates to see him win.

Re: Who Will Win The Masters
I'll bet anyone three boogers that Furyk won't even be top five...ten? Here are some odds I found:
T Woods 11/10
P Mickelson 10/1
G Ogilvy 20/1
V Singh 20/1
E Els 25/1
P Harrington 25/1
A Scott 33/1
K J Choi 33/1
R Goosen 33/1
J Furyk 40/1
I like Furyk, but like Kris Kristopherson's song says,
"Sunday Morning Coming Down"
