So close to shore and not paying attention to the status of the boat. They should have easily been able to make it to safety. Good lesson learned, pay attention to how the boat is sitting in the water.

Probably a bunch of college kids who rented on spring break. You wouldn't believe what a bunch of drunk frat boys can do with a rental when they flock up like that... Visit YouTube.
My guess is that the plug for their beer cooler failed and started draining the ice water, then the dude who brought the bong says "Hey, this one's shaped like a cone! It's, like, universal and s**t!!"

I'm having a hard time laughing on this one. Just plain stinks to see a nice boat lost like that.
Note to self. '"Always put plug in boat", Always make sure bilge pumps opperational.
