Default South bound

Went on a shopping/river check trip South.
Drove to Bi Mart in Lincoln City to get a kennel, stopped off at the local casino there, put in 10 bucks and came out with enough to cover the cost of the kennel and lunch in all of 15 minutes!! Uh, oh! That is twice that I have won at those stupid things... Does this make me any more likely to become a gambler? NO! I go in with a certain small amount and expect to lose it. 10 bucks--COOL!
Took along the rods, stopped at Three Rivers, and the Nestuc.... Boy the Big Nestuc is BIG! HIGH AND MUDDY!
I saw one nice fish on the bank at three rivers... It is almost glacial. Milky, high and strong.
No wonder there is a white water parade on the K, and this river is high too!
There is just too much water, folks.
Man we've had our share! Enough with this rain stuff! Bring on the cold dry steelhead mornings. Ice on the tree branches and sun shining through them! Frozen thumb stuck on the spool! Remember?
