Default Is anyone enjoying the high rivers?

I sure am....Light boat pressure and everyone else thinks that the rivers too high to fish well. I hate to tell those that think this, but there are tons of new steelies in and they are willing.

The fish gods smiled upon my last 2 trips. Today I honestly got 8 fish to the bank.

Here is my tip for the day. Go find some pocket water and fish the bejeezus out of it with a jig and bobber.

EFL, NFL, K, Cow

I almost feel as if I've caught my seaonal allotment of fish and will not catch any more this season. I have never done this well before, but I guess even a blind dog gets the bone every once in a while.

Baitboy, Well done. I am taking the maiden voyage this weekend. I have been hearing a lot about the bobber and jigs but never used them. Would you give me the basic jig and color information. I'm sure the old pink and white should work becasue the corkie and yard does. I know the guys at the tackle shops just want to make the sale but I would like to start with some jigs that catch fish, not fishermen.

Man, way to go on the steelies! That is so cool that you got them all on jigs. You got my curiosity going, by chance was one of the jig colors white or black? Drop me an e-mail if you prefer.
