Fishless....****** and I were out Monday, Wednesday, and yesterday. Wednesday I got an 8-9 lber where you saw us. Yesterday, my kicker started running like crap..so we opted to anchor for the remainder of the day.
The water's been right on the edge of fishable and not fishable. I see today it's more on the browny side, but look for it to come around by tomorrow.
The fish was hooked on a flourescent red Wiggle Wart, but as water conditions change, you may wanna look at different lures.
Supposedly the guys plunking right above the ramp landed 6 fish Tuesday. Wish I woulda been able to go Tuesday, but oh well.....
Now is the time...there are fish there, and that stretch you were working is one of my favorites.
Keep at it...you'll connect. The more time you spend out there, the better your chances will be.
I'll say hi next time I see ya. I gotta go play doctor on my kicker now so it's well for tomorrow's "mission".
BTW...here's a great link to watch the Clack level. Gives you just about hourly readings. Yesterday the water was on the rise, and as far as I'm concerned, that works against you.

If you look at the readings...you'll see the river came up a little over 2 feet on the guage readings, starting about 10 a.m. yesterday. It should be green tomorrow with about 1 1/2 to 2 feet or so of visibility.
See ya out there.
