been trying it at least once a week since nice weather in february. There should be some nice holdovers but have not done any good. the water is 40 degrees. Last week end i drove up in the evening and noticed some bugs hatching and a few fish rising. It should start to produce. I live in silverton and there is always some fish to catch before they stock it for the opener. This year with the snow so low has kept it cold longer than usual. I'm thinking with the warm weather predicted for later this week should be wiorth another go.

Hey Arto, fished Silverton Resevoir this afternoon. Very nice, warm and relaxing. Tried deep water from shore this time and had a few bites but nothing in the basket. A fella came by in a float tube with a finder on it. Said he marked a lot of fish right on the bottom in 40 feet of water. His unit said surface temp of water was 42 degrees! He didn't stay on the water long. Lots of bugs hatching.
