Notice: I flunked April Fool's!
Usually I do something fun, but this year I flunked!
I've been sick.
So, for you newer types that haven't been around for the last couple years, please enjoy the 2006 festivities we had. When you clicked on ifish.net, this is what came up on April 1, 2006.
The next year, I made ifish look like piscatorial pursuits.
This year I was going to do something, but I flunked!
Today? I'm not joking with anyone. I have a sore throat and a fever, but I think I'm on the mend! YAY!

Get better soon, and don't over do it because you are starting to feel better or you will end up back in bed. This stuff is pretty nasty this year and just keeps hanging on.

It's probably for the best. Last time I participated in ifish April Fools festivities, I posted a VERY serious notice from ODFW that was along the lines of "limited Sealion tags will be available to the public starting next week......."
It was supposed to be funny, but it backfired........

I fooled a fisherman on the bus heading into work this morning. I told him I caught a 35 Chinook blackmouth out in Puget Sound last weekend. His eyes got real big. I had him going pretty good and a few other in the back of the bus too. I think I've seen so much ifish April's foolery about these giant springers over the years that it's contagious.

That's ok, my wife and I flunked also. When you don't feel great it is ok to take some some time to do what you need to do, get better.
