Hearing rumors of two or three new hazards. Haven't got the details. It involves washed out trees and channel changes.
I heard a boat has been sunk under a log jam near the Mink farm.
Proceed with extreme caution, or go elsewhere under details are revealed. If I went I would wear waders and bring a chain saw. I'd also be wearing my sospenders.

I've floated most of the North coast and the Necanicum is the riskiest yet. Logs across the river, root wads and many trees in the river, overhanging limbs that make you take unwanted routes. If you go take a saw! We had to portage 2 boats over logs to continue. You have to watch ahead constantly for the next obstacle. Not a real fun time especially when the route you have to take is through the brush and limbs. Extreme caution advised. Had a very knowledgeable guide that we followed down get in trouble and nearly swamped.
