Default How's The Grande Ronde or Wallowa River's??

Anyone heard how the Steelhead fishing is on either of these two rivers??
Head'n down there Christmas Vacation to my parent's and was wondering if anyone has any info/input.

Sounds like a fine place to spend Christmas. I have not heard any reports but there should be plenty of water now! Bet you could find summer steelies below Cottonwood Creek (WA) on the Grand Rhonde drifting eggs. Good luck.

There are NO fish in that system. Repeat - there are absolutely no fish to catch in those rivers.

I talked to Joe earlier this week and he said most everyone is getting a fish or two per day on flies at Troy.

Friends in LaGrande tell me it has snowed everyday this week.
