Default Sandy

Get your gear ready. At least three hatchery steelhead and one native released at Oxbow on Monday. Two more hatchery fish today. Plunkers are doing the damage.

I've got a drift boat and if anyone is familiar with this river and the drifts let me know and we can drift it. I've always gone to coastal rivers for the chrome sea lice fish but I think it's time to learn the rivers close to home. Yeah, a little backwards but there has always been something about the coast for me.

Send an email and let's catch some feesh !!

FM2 WHEN I HAD A DRIFT BOAT YEARS AGO I'D FISHED THE SANDY A FEW TIMES AND NEVER THOUGHT OF IT AS A TOUGH RIVER TO DRIFT. I DO RELIZE THAT WE HAD A COUPLE REAL HIGH WATER YEARS AND THINGS CAN CHANGE. WHEN THE CLACK CLEARS AND START GETTING SOME GOOD REPORTS I'D BE HAPPY TO TAKE YOU FISHING IN MY SLED. P.S. I HAVEN'T WINTER STEELHEAD FISHED FOR WAY TO MAY YEARS BUT IT SEEMS AS I'M GETTING THE BUG TO START UP AGAIN! MAY GOD BLESS

Cool, thanks for the offer FE. I got a couple of emails and will be looking forward to drifting the Sandy. I'd be happy to trade a drift trip for a sled trip and help that bug of yours to start knawing on ya!

Ok, C&E, FE who is gonna fess up first to reveal all the embellished fishing rhetoric, gut slinging, duck hunting and slinky bashing that has been knawing on the knee caps of the brothers best friends sisters neices aunt who sorely deprived the gold fish of their daily dose of Omega 3

The fish are in thick in all the rivers, I heard the DB's were bonking fish every time the sticks went into the water.....of course this was only true on Gnat creek.

Time to feesh, looks like Saturday will be a good day all over!

MoJet I'm sorry you have been wronged by Catch & Eat :depressed: He's that way you know. But the person he was talking about was Mo Fish so you have been caught in the crossfire of it all. There was a little joke we played on C&E and he took it like a bouy 10 silver, hook line and sinker. Oh he tried to spit the hook but we brought him to the net landed cook and ate that son of a gun
May your next bring you many fish!

Thats why I have a split lip near the corner of my mouth! Sorry MOJET, the rib was intended for MO FISH (less fish in reality . These two dudes are a danger to listen to. False information on the King James Version of biblical fishing pursuits. By the way Rod, are you still reading the living bible? Or are you just practicing the ways of the Septuagent?

Peace
