Phone number music games
I used to do workshops for music... weekend jazz festivals etc.
One thing I'd do is take someone's phone number out of the audience and play it on the piano.
You know.. We have a 12 tone scale, but I only use the white keys, playing a major scale, (sometimes I throw in a minor, flatting the third, sixth and seventh)... so I just count C D E F G A B C as one through eight.
So, I'm in the mood to play.
If someone would send me their phone number by PM, I'd be glad to write a song, using those numbers.
It's kind of fun. PM me. I'm waiting!
Don't please post it here. I wouldn't post my phone number anywhere on the net!
Jen

Re: Phone number music games
Tell me also if you'd like it major (happy sounding) or minor (sad sounding)

Re: Phone number music games
LOL... Can't wait till someone with a different area code pms me... cuz everything is going to sound the same with 503. Maybe I'll just leave that part out of some of them and do the last 7 digits.

Re: Phone number music games
Oops! Got sidetracked cuz Bill said Hawgquest was on... but it was just a deer hunting thing, so I came down and did this real quick.
This isn't as easy as when I played more piano!
The first one is Jaws, the second, is Headhunter.

...and before I change my mind... here's me goofing around.
You can hear me forget all I once knew and whine.

Re: Phone number music games
I used to be able to just sit down and do it without thinking. I think I've lost my confidence. Is that what happens with fishing, too? You lose your confidence and don't catch fish? I think so!
