Default Double Rigs?

Any tips on how to tie a double rig, that is say, a spin-n-glow/prawn down low and a second offering of choice further up the line? Does it work well plunking. Any tips? (short of, "get a boat, cheapskate!)

I have seen some folks put a bead above an inline swiveal? then tie a snap swivel to a long leader with a spinner or hot shot tied to it. Cast your main line and get it settled were you want it the attach the snap swivel to your main line and throw your spinner or hot shot into the current, that should pull it under till it hits the swivel.Never tried it but have seen it done.

I like the idea of double riggin. Something like spin n glow on the bottow and small flatfish on top, to increase chances.
Many people practice double or even triple set ups.
As long as those set ups do not tangle up, when casting you should be increasing your chances.

Anybody ever try, umm, say a smelt on the bottum and a kwik fish above is this legal, and how would ya go about riggin it?last year I slid a spin glow down my line while sturgeon fishing and had a nice swim by,I figure it was a springer, but have no proof to back up the rumor, the smelt was untouched though.I wasn't anchored in the springer spot I wanted to be do to a valve that decided to snap off destroying a piston and nocking a hole in my head, but figured I may pick up a gator where I was while I waited for a tow,as a second thought I slid the spin glow down and about 5 min later had a nice take down, but like I said nothin to show for it, but the idea of combo fishing for different species got me thinking.

Isn't there a 3 hook max. rule when fishing for ST&S? A TBS is a good addition also.
