Post Powerbait Gulp?

Has anyone tried it? If so, did it desolve fast or didn't hold on to your hook as well as the normal powerbait?

I bought a jar and tried it the other day and everytime I would retrieve my line and the bait would always have come off and you could see a trail of it from where I cast it.

I have used Gulp a few times now with very good success. I used the kind that looks like worms,It stayed on the hook even when trolling.

I've noticed it stays on great.....

Just not quite as many bites as other my other go to baits for trout, such as worms and eggs.

I have never had trouble with it coming off, maybe you got a bunk jar? if it leaves a trail, toss out an egg or two on hook close to where the trail comes in and see if the scent brought anything in with it

I try to steer clear of the paste kind, especially the off brands, as it is not as easy as the nuggett kind. My results seem about even. Perhaps slightly better with the gulp which seems to stay better the cooler the water temp. I love trout fishing! It is so much more relaxed than Salmon and I have better luck.

I use the Gulp eggs, softer than Power eggs, but a lot more durable than paste. I had great success on them last year.
