Default Molalla River

Since the trip trader is no longer, I would like to make an offer. I have wanted to learn the Molalla for years. I would be willing to take someone who knows it for a trip down the Mo in my Willie boat and I will repay you with a trip on the upper Nestucca for March Natives this spring. I am a very experienced Oarsman that has been rowing for almost 13 years and I can handle just about any situation on the river.
I am dying to learn this river. Someone please help. E-mail me with replies

Thanks
Tanner

Cool offer! I love the Mo!
I'll take you Tanner! I've never rowed it, but hey, you trust me, right?
I can do from The Guide Shop to Sollie no problem! I've done it twice now! I am a very experienced, two time oarsmen! I don't like heavy water though, and if it get's scary, I am known to bail.
I haven't been on the Mo for 20 years, but hey, things can't have changed all that much, huh?
When we going?
Chris Sessions let me row once too, and the water got really fast, ("really fast" is a relative term water that is non stagnant) and pretty soon he's saying, "Jennie, look out for... for... Jennie!"
CRASH!
But you have Glovit, right?
Jen

Jennie, you and I must have crossed paths on the MO 20 years ago. I too haven't been on that river for at least that long? I know the last time I could'nt believe how much something could change from year to year and that wasn't after any big floods!
Oh and by the way I'll have the guts to ask? when do we see a spell check on this site. My close friends now how bright I'am, but would like to try to keep some sort of dignity out in the fishing world.. May God Bless

Thanks Rod

I don't know if we crossed or not!
About spell check... How do you spell Mollala? Molalla? Yeah, that's right, right?
We had a version of spell check on the board, but nobody liked to wait for the banner ads on the sponsor page.
I know, I miss spell check too! Not that Molalla would be in there...
Mollalla? Molala? I think Mo is good.

Have a nice float. There ain't no fish in the Molalla.A few natives that make the state threatened list. This river has changed for the wose in the last 20 years.96 flood really tore it up.Houses are now located on the river in the riparian area regardless of the law.Amazingly you we still get a feeling of remoteness at times.Tell you see the next house." You cant go back home" The MO used to be my March bread and butter river. Then April on the Santiam untill the state decided to eliminate the Wild Santiam WS because they were competing with their hatchery fish."You can't go home" but some of us still try.

Tanner steve is just about right, the mo still gets a shot of spring chinook and some stray hatchery steelies and the natives steve talked about . if the mo is your yearnin im your man its been about two years since I drifted it and there are still a few nice drifts on this river, though you better Know what your doin on the oars and bring a chainsaw for the sweepers.its a shame the odfw decided to stop planting the steelies in there but still continues to dump springer smolts in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
