Default Silver Lake Reports?

Can anyone give a report on the crappie at Silver Lake? I would like to take my boys up there in the next couple weeks. I was considering staying at the Silverlake Resort, is the fishing near the resort any good? I have only fished Silver Lake once and we got tore up by the perch! (not complaining the boys had a great time) only caught a few crappie. Thanks in advance for any response the Boys and I

they are usually biting by this time of the year but not this year. the lake needs to go up about 5-8 degrees. if you call the resort they can give you a water temp. 55 degrees in the morning is what you are looking for.

It is tradition that new menbers to Ifish entertain everyone else with a fishing story. This gives all of us a chance to get to know you, and also something to read on these cold, snowy, spring days Welcome to Ifish now goto the main page and write something youngman
