I-84 MILEPOST 35 LONG TERM CLOSURE (>24 HOURS)
5 MILES EAST OF CASCADE LOCKS. I-84 EASTBOUND: THE
DODSON/WARRENDALE OFFRAMP AND ONRAMP ARE CLOSED DUE TO A MUDSLIDE.
THE FRONTAGE ROAD IS ALSO CLOSED. ALL LANES ON I-84 ARE OPEN

The news showed pictures of 40 feet of mud and water covering the ramp off I-84. The Fishery may be out of bounds for a while ... ODOT estimates many weeks to remove the debris since it has to be deposited outside the scenic area. Rooster Rock, here I come!

Just a heads up. I was watching the news at noon and there has been a massive mudslide at Dodson, Exit 35 on I-84. 20-30 feet of mud is covering parts of the road. If your planning a trip to the Fishery you may want to call and see if there is access. From the news footage I couldnt tell if the way to the Fishery is open. I believe the news said Exit 35 is CLOSED.

Just go up to the Bonniville dam exit, and loop back to the west bound Dodson exit. It's only an extra 10 minutes.
