At your rowing level you may want to opt for the bridge to 101 , also, it's a bit steap and muddy at the park put in but you may be able to do it.

I've rowed 2nd bridge to cloverdale on the nestucca, And mills to sollie with no fatalities, I'm just not real smooth. I may have a truck lined up so hopefully the ramps won't be an issue.

Thanks for your responce.

You'll probably be ok, there are just some turns that like to pull you into the bank.

You should also be ready for a little quick rowing through the tangle of stumps just above the water pipe ... it's changed since last year, but it's not too bad.

I would recomend against floating the Kilches from the Park to the Green Bridge unless you have some experience rowing. There are several places were the river goes directly into a rock wall and there are normally a few sweepers to be watchful for also.

The lower drift would be a better choice if you are not familiar with the upper river. You might see if you can get someone to take you/go with you on the upper drift.

Its not terribly challenging but you need to keep your eyes open.

Good Luck,
V. Green
