The original pink has always been my standard when it comes to Power Bait with the original orange coming in second.

I love chartruese. For some reason its been the most versatile powerbait i've ever used. I've caught trout, bass, and even catfish on it too. But for just trout pink is a close second.

Korn flavor works great. I like to dunk any color in a little container of glitter just before launch. (Disco Ball)

I didn't vote because I couldn't pick just one. I've done really well on all the colors listed, plus orange. One may be the hot color on one lake, while another will work better someplace else.

Other. This year it was White at Rufus Woods. Rainbow came in a strong second and last years favorite Chartruse brought up the rear.

Two colors that I have had zero bites: blue and nightcrawler/brown

The best for me (in no particular order): chartreuse, yellow/tan, rainbow

Chartreuse best with fl. orange second. Sometimes color hasn't made a lick of difference but I can remember one time at Crane Prairie chartreuse with glitter worked a lot better than the plain stuff. Reckon that fish are just as fickle as people at times...always a challenge but a good one.

When I use powerbait, I start with Chartreuse, and go from there probably hot pink next.

Black- When I am fishin' grizby lake down south, I have noticed my special dyed black powerbait really gets yoinked by trout and other sweet panfish. If you look at the light spectrum, black is the best color for deeply deployed bait. Other colors just don't show up. I like to use a black bait with a white tipped bangtail as well, gets em everytime!

Interesting! I have caught a lot of trout on black lures, so it makes sense that they would like black bait. How do you dye it?

I agree that does make sense, especially on dark days.

the red, white, blue, seems to work good for me. but lately I havent had much luck at all, I think with the murky waters lately I should try something darker.
also corn flavor (kinda yellowish) has worked at northfork res.

I gotta blow Junkyard's cover, his secret isn't just the black coloring. A little bird informed me that he buys a couple quarters worth of pellets from the pay feeders at the hatchery and mashes them up into powder, then mixes it in with his custom black power bait...

Ha, secret's out now JYJ!

Chartreuse with glitter is what has always worked for me. I have used it on trout all over Oregon with the same results. Sometimes however, trout at certain lakes like specific colors for some reason. Go figure. Good fishin all.

Charteause green most of the time.
However since I was a kid, I played with colors such as orange hoping to beat out my cousins and had success some days that green didn't.
My other favorite is blue. One year I could not stop catching fish on blue at Hagg.
