Newby Bass fisherman with Newby Question???

I live on the coast 7 miles east of Newport, Or and I am hoping to find some good places to go after Bass??? I catch em by the dozen down in souther oregon at Hyatt Lake but I am pretty much at a loss as to where to go for Bass around here or within an hour or two from Newport.

Please any help on where to go would be greatly appreciated....

Hopeing someone will take some pitty on a poor lil ole newb like me????

Dude! Google up "Pete Heley", Oregon Coast Bass & Panfish Guide. This guy has fished every puddle, and larger, on the entire Oregon coast and written about it. If you had a small boat and a pontoon boat this book would be your warm water fishing bible!

I was driving through there a couple of weeks ago and there a little lakes everywhere. Good luck.

Try the lake from Florence south to Lakeside. Most are within a couple hours drive and they all hold bass and other panfish. Locally the Big Creek, Ollala and Devils lake all hold fish.
