OK I'm bummed out :-( Jeff Healey
I just found out that one of my favorite guitarist, Jeff Healey, pass away earlier this month from cancer.
His unique style of play and passion for blues and hard rock made him an easy favorite in my collection.
RIP Jeff.

Re: OK I'm bummed out :-( Jeff Healey
Amen brother! As a guitarist myself I had a great respect for his ability and passion to play guitar. He also had a great voice. His rendition of "My guitar gently weeps" is one of my favorite songs of all time. The fact that he was blind was not an uncommon thing for a musician. The fact that he played blues & rock style guitar with his guitar across his lap and him fingering chords and making bends, hammer-ons etc.... and playing blues and rock leads basically upside down was unique and amazing!!

I have been playing since I was about 9 and he was one of the first people I got into. He was right there alongside Hendrix, Clapton and Stevie. I was pretty bummed too when I found out. I love how he would hold bends and it just sounded like someone shreaking awesome stuff.
