Bushnell Banner ?
Does anyone have a Bushnell Banner 4x12x40? What type of rifle is it on and how do you like it? Any input would be great!

I had a new one on my 22-250 until recently. Not a bad scope for the price, seemed to track well when adjustments were made, AO worked as indicated. Pulled it off the 22-250 thinking it's more scope than I wanted setting on top.

Re: Bushnell Banner ?
I have a Banner 3x9x40 on my 22-250 and it's works well on that rifle. I have had that combo for about 22 years and it has not had any problems at all.

Re: Bushnell Banner ?
I just put the same scope on my Savage 17 HMR. I'm not a scope geek, so I don't have too much to say. After bore sighting it I was on the paper and putting tiny groups (they could hide under Lincoln's mug) together out to 75 yards before I finished a box (50 rounds) of ammo.
I picked the scope up for 89.00 at an employee owned store. Their price is going up $10.00, so act fast. I couldn't find a better deal on the Internet after including shipping.
For a scope under $90.00, I don't think you can do better.

Re: Bushnell Banner ?
Ive had one on my 300 win mag for years and it works fine for an inexpensive scope. I am going to replace it with a Leupold before next elk season though. not because it has any problems though, just want to upgrade it

Re: Bushnell Banner ?
I have one on a 17 and the 4-18 on my 204
I'm putting another 4-12 on a 10/22 this week
I think they are a great value for $100

Re: Bushnell Banner ?
I bought one when I got my .204 and it worked just fine, but I wanted a higher magnification so I swapped it llast year for a 6X24. Now that 4-12 sits on a 7mm-08 and it works just as well on that one, in fact it accounted for 2 deer last fall (me and my son).
It's clear, holds zero and has never fogged. Good scope for the $

Re: Bushnell Banner ?
I don't know about the Banner, but I've recently become very interested in a an Elite 4200 3-10x40. Optical quality is top notch. Every bit as good as the VX-III Leupolds that I have. Some have compared the Elite 4200 with the Swarovski AV line of scopes.
