Default Where to go for a new car radio/cd unit?

I have a Jeep Liberty and the CD player on the radio has quit...again!
We are on the third factory radio, so I'm looking for something else.

I'm not sure where to go. I looked at CarToys today but I didn't really see anything. I just want something simple.

I'm looking for a store anywhere from Ross Island Bridge to Salem.

What brand is a good choice? I don't need anything with iPOD stuff. Just a radio and CD player is all I need.

Thanks

You could put one in yourself, nothing to it really...

Crutchfield is a great place to start. Adapters for installation are free at least in most cases. I just bought a kenwood deck, should be here tomorrow...

There is a shop where I used to work at thats near Ross Island. Go in there and talk to Rick. I'm also sending you a PM for other shops that might work also.

Crutchfield is good and I personally like Alpine decks.

Not sure where to go in your area but if you listen to the radio much make sure you ask about the reciever as there are some great CD players out there with some really inferior recievers.

Good point on the receiver. We use the jeep for a tow vehicle when we travel. So a strong receiver is an important issue.

Thank you for all the info and PM's. It looks like I have some shopping to do.

Thanks again
