Re: C&E SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!
So fishin eddie that was you up the clack yesterday? It truly was a great day to be on the clack. I put in at clackamas park and took a chance in making my first run up the clack in my new Motion Marine it was cool. A few places I could of broke a nut between my butt cheeks, but I got over that quick.
It looked like the fish you caught just came out of the ocean. I picked up four just up river from you. One I had to thought back a little on the dark side.
Have a great weekend.
Mofish
PS Brown Trout are running just north of Portland.

Re: C&E SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!
Rod, you were not kidding!!! I took off as soon as I read your post this morning. The river is a little high and milky but man the fish are there!!!
Got there right at 8 am and second cast whammo!! Got my first stump. Fought it for about four minutes and then it got off. On my fifth cast got this big ol' log that broke me off. I would'nt even want to guess the size. JUST BIG!!! About 10 casts later I got one that was big as a house. That sucker spooled me big time. Had to quit after that and go back to work. Just though I would post the results of my one hour trip this morning from the bank below riverside.
Now, for those that have just read this post and have you boats loaded....you have been had. The first two jokers were bored this morning and thought yanking a chain was danged funny. Well, Rodney, got ya back! By the way when can I schedual my car    .
Please avoid fishin Eddie in the future. He has a hard time telling the truth. What???? Rod, when you go to church Sunday you better sit in the front row. That way you can make a bee line up to the front when the alter call is made. Peace bro!

Re: C&E SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!
Guys...I'm amazed the Clack is dropping still after all the rain we've gotten today. The color is the same as it was yesterday...a bit browny-green....more browny than green tho. Lotsa water running through it...14.1 at noon today.

Re: C&E SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!
Hey FM did you hear anything about a man in the river up near Willamette Park in West Linn? Friend heard something on a scanner last nite around 4 or so. Son was crossing 205 bridge and saw the county SO truck and rescue boat headed over the bridge with lights and siren. Nothing in paper. All that was heard on the scanner was that he was near the park and still floating downriver.

Re: C&E SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!
No Frank...Nor did we hear any activity down below. One good thing (if you wanna call it good....)looks like only about a 20 foot drop over the falls at the level the river's at today. So strange to see lots of water in the river. Just like "Old Times"!!!
BTW....How was the smoked salmon??

Re: C&E SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!
So Rod, did you make it to the altar on sunday morning to repent of your sins? Fellow believers, Fishin Eddie told a fish story and has not REPENTED!!! :depressed:
Rod, please recite the following prayer:
Lord, what fish.
