Default Wild Salmon slideshow, Dec. 5

The Wild Salmon Center is holding what should be a very educational evening next week. The presenters Guido Rahr and David Moskowitz are well known and respected for their efforts in fisheries conservation. Here's the details from the invitation. (contact the Center for more details or questions, note the RSVP) See ya there...

The Wild Salmon Center

Cascadia: Where the Wild Salmon are In the Trees

Weds. Dec. 5th 5:30 - 7:30pm
Natural Capital Center 721 NW 9th St. Portland OR (2nd Floor conference room)

RSVP required by 5pm Dec. 3 at info@wildsalmoncenter.org or 503.222.1804

"Guido Rahr and David Moskowitz will lead a photographic tour describing recent highlights from explorations and field work in the last best wild salmon rivers of the Pacific Northwest. The Olympic Peninsula and Oregon's North Coast are home to globally important native salmonid populations. More significantly, these rivers, the Nehalem, the Hoh, the Trask, Kilchis and more are born in mountains that overlook backyards in Portland and Seattle; come join us for the exploration."

I've known both Guido and Dave for a long time. This sounds like a great presentation. Both men have outstanding credentials for their work in support of our anadromous fisheries. I hope this will be offered again when I don't have a time conflict. If you get a chance to go, do it, take notes and don't forget to ask about "most memorable fishing experiences"!

HappyBrew,

If you haven't already, call the WSC phone number regarding any charge.

(My impression, from the invitation that was sent out, is that there is no charge)
