important info for all newbies (like me)
Since I have joined this board earlier this month, I have asked several questions about various fishing techniques and methods of fishing.
Many people have been kind enough to answer with their vast fishing knowledge, and I really appreciate it.
Last night I spent about 2 hours going over the search function and looking at the archived posts.
EVERY question that I had was discussed at length, some several times, in the past year and a half.
So, check out the archives, most likely any questions you have has been answered or discussed.
There is an incredible amount of knowledge there!
Thanks,

Re: important info for all newbies (like me)
good advice! in the last year or so, i've seen most of the usual questions come through several times. sometimes the newbies have some new information to bring into the circle; however, most of the common topics have been pretty well covered, if not beaten to death.
there is much valuable information to be had in the archives. sometimes i'll look in there for posts on a river i'm thinking of fishing to see what was posted last year to get an idea of when a run will start, end, or tips on how to fish it.

Tagster, welcome aboard. Dont worry about asking a question or posting a subject that may have already been done. You will find that most of these ifishers like to shoot the bull anyway and they never miss a chance to flap a little and show off their expertise on a subject. They are a great bunch of people and most dont mind repeating some good info when someone requests it.

Never thought of doing that until I read the archives...

Would this be what you are referring to?
This is a great primer for anyone looking to buy a new boat. Plus it is about North River...like them so much, I bought one and love it!!

Re: important info for all newbies (like me)
Greetings to new users, and don't feel at all sorry for rehashing subjects. Every time something comes up again, we get a new take on it from someone else new.
I have learned a lot on the third go around!
