Default Old waders...

I once ran across an article of some really neato things you can do with old waders.
Something about a handle for a thermos, etc.
I think Norm Ritchie wrote it in the Steelheaders Mag.
Ben gave me my first pair of waders, and they got christened in the Lewis and Clark.
Those waders lasted me for nearly 16 years.
I would like to make something for Ben out of my waders as a keepsake for Christmas. Can anyone help me locate this article?
I cut the boot part off at the ankle, and I use them to run outside with the pup, or to feed the chickens. I saved the rest.
Any help?
Jen

I use my old waders for mouse nests in the corner of my garage. Probably not what you had in mind, eh?

Jennie, I think a more polite term for our more senior boat owners is "Former Waders", not "Old Waders" as you so indelicately put it.

Bill, watch out. I think she is planning on cutting off your feet and feeding them to the chickens.

I still don't get the joke...
I keep asking around, and NO ONE will explain it to me!
Oh well...
